operation since 1812, making it one of the oldest of nine
working bourbon distilleries in Kentucky.

Ashland - The Estate Of Henry Clay

Ashland is the name of the plantation of the nineteenth-
century Kentucky statesman Henry Clay, located in Lexington,
Kentucky. The name derives from the ash forest that
stood at the site. Clay and his family resided at
Ashland from 1806 until his death in 1852.
